let’s travel to Southeast Asia for a flavorful noodle dish. Pad Thai is a national dish of Thailand enjoyed worldwide for its blend of rice noodles, protein like shrimp, and zesty sweet/sour sauce. Get ready for this iconic recipe:

👩‍🍳 Pad Thai 🇹🇭

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz rice noodles 🍜
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, chicken or tofu, sliced 🍤
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 2 eggs 🥚
  • 1⁄4 cup peanuts, crushed 🥜
  • 3 tbsp tamarind paste 🍋
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce 🐠
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar 🍯
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce 🌶️
  • 1 cup bean sprouts 🥦
  • Lime 🍋, cilantro 🌿, chili flakes 🔥

Instructions:

  1. Soak noodles until soft, drain and set aside. 🍜
  2. Scramble eggs and slice protein. 🍳
  3. Whisk sauces and sugar in wok over medium. 🥘
  4. Add noodles, protein and garlic. Toss to coat. 🥢
  5. Remove and top with eggs, sprouts, peanuts and herbs. 🥗
